Website for a cleaning company: how to turn an estimate into a request

TL;DR

A cleaning client wants to know the price and see who will come to their home. If the website answers this before the call, a request comes in without extra messaging. I show which pages, calculator, photos and form a cleaning company website needs and what it costs.

Website for a cleaning company: how to turn an estimate into a request - INSITE

A person looking for a cleaning service has questions in mind: how much it will cost, what exactly will be done and who will come into the apartment. Until there are answers, they message several companies and choose the company that answers more clearly. I build cleaning websites so these answers are on the page before the call.

Why does a cleaning company need its own website if it is already on aggregators?

An aggregator is a separate channel. There your service sits in a shared feed next to competitors, and a person compares listings by price. Your own website is a place where you decide what to show: the scope of work, the team, photos of jobs and the terms.

A website does not replace platforms, it adds to them. It is convenient to put a link to it in ads and in the company profile.

Which services should get their own pages?

Deep cleaning and post-renovation cleaning differ in scope of work, equipment and price. If you pile them onto a page without structure, a person will not find their task. I put key services on separate pages:

Regular cleaning - an apartment or a house, a basic set of work.

Deep cleaning - thorough cleaning of the kitchen, bathroom and hard-to-reach places.

Post-renovation cleaning - construction dust, traces of paint and grout.

Window washing - a separate service with its own equipment.

Furniture and carpet dry cleaning - sofas, mattresses, carpeting.

Office cleaning - for companies that need cleaning under a contract.

When a person is looking for a specific service, it is easier for them to stay on a page about exactly that service. I covered working for your own city separately: Local SEO: how to rank in your own city.

How do you show what the cleaning includes?

Companies read the word "deep" differently, and the client does not know whether their oven and windows will be cleaned. Answer this with a checklist by area:

Kitchen - cabinet fronts, stove, oven, fridge and range hood.

Bathroom - plumbing fixtures, tiles, mirrors, limescale removal.

Rooms - dust on surfaces, floors, baseboards, windowsills.

Extras - windows, balcony, ironing, furniture dry cleaning.

Mark what is included in the base price and what is charged separately. That way the final amount will not be a surprise for the client.

Does the website need a cleaning cost calculator?

For cleaning, a calculator is a useful tool: a person picks the type of cleaning, enters the area and checks the extra services, and the website shows an approximate amount. What to build into the calculator:

Type of cleaning - regular, deep, post-renovation.

Area - in square meters or by the number of rooms.

Extra services - windows, oven, balcony, dry cleaning.

Request button - with the amount already calculated, so the client does not have to repeat the choice.

State honestly that this is an estimate and that you confirm the exact price after clarifying the details. The calculator and the form work together: the estimate turns into a request by itself.

How do you show who will come to clean?

The client lets strangers into their apartment or office, and it matters to them to understand who these people are. Show the team and how the work is done:

Team photos - real people in the company uniform, no stock models.

Staff selection - how you check and train employees, in your own words.

Products and equipment - what you clean with and whether there are options for homes with children and pets.

Work process - from the request to the client accepting the cleaning.

Write only what the team really does. An unkept promise hurts trust more than its absence.

Which photos suit a cleaning website?

The main proof of cleaning work is before and after photos. Shoot real jobs from the same spot and in the same light, so the result is visible without a caption. Stock images with a perfect kitchen do not show what you did. More on choosing - in the article Website photos: your own or stock images.

Before shooting, ask the apartment owner whether you may take photos, and keep personal belongings and the address out of the frame.

What request form does a cleaning company need?

The form collects what is needed for the estimate, and nothing more:

Type of cleaning and area - if the person did not come from the calculator.

District or address - to see whether you travel there.

Name and phone - a way to get in touch that suits the client.

Comment - optional: pets, special wishes.

Extra fields get in the way of reaching the button. Which fields to keep and which to remove, I described in the article Website enquiry form: which fields you need and which get in the way.

How much does a website for a cleaning company cost?

A landing page with services and a request form - from $190. It fits if you work with apartments and have a small set of services.

A multipage website with separate pages for services, offices and districts - from $490.

A complex project with a client account or online payment - on request. We discuss the cost calculator separately for your services. The article Landing page or multipage website: what your business needs will help you decide what to choose at the start.

If you want to understand what your company needs, write to me - I will look at your services and suggest a structure.
